On November 6, Appleby students, employees, parents and grandparents attended the annual Diwali dinner. This year featured henna artists, bindhis and mauli bracelets for all attendees, a traditional prayer table, an interactive Bollywood dance, fashion show, and cultural games and activities. Thanks to Upper One student Nikhil Gowd for his skilled performance on the tabla, and Senior Two students Sahil Ahuja and Ivan Hu for their terrific work as emcees. A huge thanks to all of the students and parents who contributed to this festive event. We look forward to celebrating with you again next year, and Happy Diwali!
