On November 16, a group of Appleby students worked with the Halton Children’s Aid Society. Students helped paint a banner to commemorate the organization’s 100th anniversary and learned about families that are in need of assistance. The students were provided with funds and purchased items for the families including gift cards, basic necessities, toys and presents for the children, and something special for the parents. Presents were wrapped by the students and will be delivered to the families in December.
