From November 18 to 22, Appleby hosted its third annual Round Square Week. On November 18 students were encouraged to dress in cultural attire of their heritage, or from a country they have visited or learned about. Activities throughout the week included selling gourmet and organic fair trade items to students and employees. The council’s service activity involved filming scripted scenarios for Community Living Oakville, which will be used in workshops intended to raise the awareness of various types of abuse including financial and neglect.
