Appleby Swim Team Trained in Florida Over February Long Weekend

From February 13-17, 25 members of Appleby’s swim team trained at the Pine Crest Pool and Athletic Facilities in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Students completed 18 hours of rigorous training that included a variety of dry land and water activities. In between workouts the group participated in surf lessons, went on a moonlight stand-up board paddle, and fished off the international pier. Alumni parent and member of Appleby’s Board of Governors, Melinda Harrison, is part of the Pine Crest School’s Athletic Hall of Fame.
