All of the grade seven and eight students of MacLachlan College had a unique and fun experience at Camp Wenonah. Even though the cold wind blustered against our backs as we stepped down from the large yellow school bus, we were excited. We were ready for an amazing experience at Camp Wenonah.
A sign that read “Welcome to Camp Wenonah” greeted us as we hustled to grab our bags. The feeling of all my friends there in the main lodge filled my heart with warmth that penetrated through to my frosty fingers. The main lodge is where we ate home cooked meals and played indoor games away from the stinging cold.
As we left the next day we turned our heads to see the view of an amazing place as Camp Winonah drifted out of sight.
