On October 28, eight of Appleby’s Duke of Edinburgh Ambassadors volunteered at the 2015 Duke of Edinburgh Forum Opening Ceremonies at the Hockey Hall of Fame in Toronto. Students shared their passion for the award with delegates from over 130 countries around the world. On October 27 at the Ismaeli Centre in Toronto, five Appleby alumni received their Gold Duke of Edinburgh Awards from His Royal Highness, Prince Edward, Earl of Wessex. Jonah Issenman ’12, DongWoo Shin ’15, Aidan Macdonnell ’15, Nicholas Lenahan ’15 and Lucy Zhou ’15. Congratulations!
