On April 23, the Appleby College Model United Nations (ACMUN) co-curricular hosted the 11th annual conference. Keynote speaker Craig Kielburger, co-founder of Free the Children, ME to WE and WE Villages, addressed more than 400 delegates, community members and faculty and challenged the audience with a call to action about the power and potentiality of our youth, embodying the theme of the conference: “It’s Our Time.” The day included debates, collaboration, problem-solving and experiential learning, and Middle Two student Alyssa Gaylard won Best Delegate, representing the United States in the futuristic 2050 Committee.
