From December 1-15, a group of 12 Upper Two and Senior One students and two faculty members travelled to Costa Rica for an International Service Trip. The first half of the trip took place in a largely Nicaraguan refugee settlement area in the city of San Jose. Working with a community leader and local residents, students built a cement roadway to assist four families. The group then travelled on to Los Camposinos in the rainforest region of the country, where they worked with local farmers and turned a plot of land to increase local food farming opportunities. The students impressed everyone with their efforts!
