On February 7, Senior One students Spencer Edgecombe, Shea Cardozo, Stephanie Ng and Joshua Widman attended Hack that Page, a hackathon hosted by BrainStation, an app development firm in Toronto. A hackathon is an event in which computer programmers and others involved in software development collaborate on software projects. Students had an opportunity to hear Shopify and Twitter developers speak about their experiences in the industry. In addition, they learned how to write web-pages using HTML5 and CSS code.
