On January 28, Canadian artist Andy De Cola visited the Upper Two visual arts class and discussed his artistic practice with students. When painting, Andy uses a technique known as hard-edged to create his imagery. This technique is currently being used by Upper Two students in their studio activity. He also shared many Instagram sites of contemporary Canadian artists that he is inspired by and offered insight into the business of the arts.
