The Varsity Boys’ Hockey team entered the OFSAA A/AA tournament as a distinct underdog. Ranked 8th going into the tournament, the team finished the round-robin portion with a record of 3-0-1 finishing in first place in Pool F. In the quarter-finals the team defeated St. Charles College of Sudbury 3-0 and then Haliburton Highlands Secondary School 4-1 in the semi-finals to earn a spot in the gold medal game against the tournament’s number one seed, London South Collegiate Institute. The boys played well in the championship game but fell short of victory losing to London South Collegiate Institute 6-0. Congratulations to the boys on a tremendous tournament!
