On September 2, Upper Two student Victoria Vastis, vocal student and member of Appleby’s Chapel and Cantus Choirs, was selected to sing onstage with Broadway legend Idina Menzel at the Sony Centre for Performing Arts in Toronto. Victoria had the opportunity to perform the song Take me or leave me from the musical Rent with Ms. Menzel to a crowd of over 3,000 people. The performance ended with a standing ovation for Victoria!
